Audra Bayer is a senior family lawyer who has been practicing law since 2000 when she was first called to the Bar in Manitoba. She has been in BC since 2012 practicing primarily out of West Kelowna and has built a very strong and reputable practice with a focus on the use of education and mediation in highly volatile cases where family violence, mental health and addiction are factors.

She is bilingual and a certified mediator and arbitrator who has real life experience going through a separation and divorce and understands the complexities and emotions in these matters. She is also a collaborative law practitioner and mother of five children. She has previously served as a member of the Canadian Bar Association’s (CBA) National Alternative Dispute Resolution section, Co-Chair of the Okanagan Family Bar Section, and member of the CBA National Family Section.

Audra is extremely passionate and has adopted her father’s “straight shooter”, down to earth approach when it comes to advocacy and communication. She understands working with her clients carries an immense level of responsibility. She is committed to a “children first” approach in her practice and integrates a number of para professionals in her practice including parenting coaches, parenting coordinators, substance misuse professionals, counselors, business valuators and other financial professionals.

When not in the office Audra loves spending time in her garden, on an Okanagan hike, playing guitar and spending time with her five children and 6 rescued animals.
